Most of the strings in Service UI which you don't see translated simply
need to be compiled into a json file for them to be picked up by
the application.

This has already been done in

    https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq-ui-service/pull/315

but for some reason the pull request was originally marked as not an euwe
material (I changed that now).

So right now, this PR just needs to be cherry picked into euwe for
most of the strings to be resolved.

Comment 4 Milan Zázrivec 2016-11-07 12:32:42 UTC
Actually, I was wrong about the cherry-pick of the above PR. What really needs to be
done here is to do the gulp gettext-compile && gulp available-languages for euwe branch
as well.

A plain cherry-pick wouldn't work, since the catalogs in master & euwe are different.

translation

Still don't see complete translation of Main Left menu.
Like Order , Request in Deutsch and "My Service " in French.

Comment 9 Chris Kacerguis 2017-04-20 21:55:07 UTC
Needs to refresh the translation.

Half way there

https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq-ui-service/pull/712

new pot file updated, when should I pull down latest translations from zanata?

Comment 14 Chris Kacerguis 2017-05-04 20:53:58 UTC
Allen - -Is this ready to go to POST?

untranslated text

Some of the texts are still translated in certain language like Portugues and Chinese.

Comment 17 Allen W 2017-10-16 13:09:22 UTC
@Shveta, here is the Zanata link to that branch, https://translate.zanata.org/project/view/manageiq-ui-service?dswid=7226

Yeah looking at the languages, we are only at 4.28% for pt and 38% for zh-CN

until those numbers go up, there isn't much else engineering can do at this point

Comment 18 Shveta 2017-10-16 16:15:34 UTC
@Allen , Thanks Allen . I understand .
Can I just use this bug as a tracking bug for internationalization.
We can assign it to the i18n team .
