Description Upstream Release Monitoring 2017-01-12 15:04:06 UTC
Latest upstream release: 2.0.0
Current version/release in rawhide: 1.2.1-2.fc25
URL: https://github.com/celluloid/nio4r

Please consult the package updates policy before you issue an update to a stable branch: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Updates_Policy

More information about the service that created this bug can be found at: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Upstream_release_monitoring

Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. Specifically, please remember that it is your responsibility to review the new version to ensure that the licensing is still correct and that no non-free or legally problematic items have been added upstream.

Unfortunately, this is blocked by by actioncable ATM, but it seems that it could be unblocked with next release:

Vit,
OK!

Comment 3 Jun Aruga 2017-03-22 19:09:55 UTC
Updated nio4r to 2.0.0.

- Dependency check: ok
  rubygem-actioncable-0:5.0.2 is ok for nio4r.
- License check: ok
- rpmlint check: ok

But there is one warning message I got.

```
rubygem-nio4r.x86_64: W: hidden-file-or-dir /usr/lib/.build-id
The file or directory is hidden. You should see if this is normal, and delete
it from the package if not.
```
This is discussed here.

- Install check: ok
- irb check: ok
