Please consult the package updates policy before you issue an update to a stable branch: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Updates_Policy

More information about the service that created this bug can be found at: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Upstream_release_monitoring

Please keep in mind that with any upstream change, there may also be packaging changes that need to be made. Specifically, please remember that it is your responsibility to review the new version to ensure that the licensing is still correct and that no non-free or legally problematic items have been added upstream.

Comment 1 Björn 'besser82' Esser 2017-01-28 10:12:53 UTC
I'm already on it; requires some chain-builds because of the change to GCC-7 in Rawhide.

Packaging work has been done by me already and tests are fine on F25; just waiting for the finished chain-builds for Octave and R on Rawhide.

Will build for Rawhide and in f26-boost side-tag then.

Comment 2 Björn 'besser82' Esser 2017-02-01 20:33:40 UTC
Just finished rebuilding Octave for GCC-7; running a rebuild of SWIG in f26-boost with Octave-testsuite enabled.

R-testsuite is still disabled, because of ongoing issues with GCC-7 and openblas… :(

Comment 3 Björn 'besser82' Esser 2017-02-14 21:24:33 UTC
Will rebuild with R-testsuite as soon as the new R-build lands build-repo…
