Description Kedar Kulkarni 2017-05-18 18:03:43 UTC
Description of problem:
On vSphere5.5 and vSphere6, Windows 7/Windows Server 2012 - IE11 Environment, when you open VNC Based HTML5 console for any VM, and try to interact with it, Mouse pointer will disappear as soon as it enters the canvas that renders VM.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
downstream-58z Version: 5.8.0.15

How reproducible:
Believe 100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open IE 11 on Windows7 machine, in vsphere6 environment and login to CFME Appliance.
2.Navigate to Compute->Infrastructue->Virtual Machines, and click on any running VM in vSphere6 environment(might be same for vSphere55, not tested).
3.From VM Details page, click Access->VM Console, new windows should open(disable pop-up blocker).
4. When VM gets rendered in HTML5 Canvas element, as soon as you try to move your mouse pointer to inside the canvas element, it will disappear. You can still click things, but you don't see your mouse pointer, so it will be a blind click.

Actual results:
Mouse pointer disappears.

Expected results:
Mouse pointer should remain visible.

Additional info:
On same VMs, HTML5 console works fine with Chrome.
