Description Ruchika K 2017-06-09 14:38:46 UTC
Description of problem:
s per the documentation here: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/openshift_container_platform/3.5/html-single/installation_and_configuration/#using-ceph-rbd-installing-the-ceph-common-package
it appears the ceph admin key MUST be used.
Why is this the case ?
Shouldn't it be possible to assign a client and use a particular client key for the ceph rbd ?

Yes, client other than admin can work as well as long as the client is granted access to the rbd pool.

If no ceph user is provided, default user (admin) is used.
