Description Martin Kourim 2017-07-04 15:55:58 UTC
Neither the documentation nor the API describe how credentials are mapped to endpoints when creating a new provider using the REST API and specifying credentials as compound set.

There's no information on what values of "auth_type" are valid and how "auth_type" values are related to endpoints.

Hi Martin--

Have you seen the "Connection Configurations" section? http://manageiq.org/docs/reference/latest/api/reference/providers#specifying-connection-configurations ... there is also a PR outstanding for another addition: https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq_docs/pull/406/files

If that is not what you are referring to, do you have a more specific example? I'd be happy to make another addition

Thank you,
Jillian
