This error is not limited to i386. Remaking initrd does not help. OTOH this seems to be a replacement for #146292 which appears to be gone. Udev-0.50.3 also breaks ppp, which needs a /dev/ppp device that is no longer present. Also devices in /etc/udev/devices are no longer added to /dev !! oops, a development version of start_udev slipped in the update. reverted in udev-0.50.5 |
