Description Nicholas Kudriavtsev 2017-11-17 09:01:03 UTC
Description of problem:
When I start LibreOffice Calc.
SELinux is preventing gsf-office-thum from 'map' accesses on the file /tmp/gnome-desktop-file-to-thumbnail.xlsx.

***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests **************************

If you believe that gsf-office-thum should be allowed map access on the gnome-desktop-file-to-thumbnail.xlsx file by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# ausearch -c 'gsf-office-thum' --raw | audit2allow -M my-gsfofficethum
# semodule -X 300 -i my-gsfofficethum.pp

Comment 3 Nicholas Kudriavtsev 2017-11-23 08:21:01 UTC
I encountered the error just after installing 283.16 policy. Before applying 283.17 policy I tested again and no error was caught. After applying 283.17 policy there is no error also.
