Description of problem: When I start LibreOffice Calc. SELinux is preventing gsf-office-thum from 'map' accesses on the file /tmp/gnome-desktop-file-to-thumbnail.xlsx. ***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests ************************** If you believe that gsf-office-thum should be allowed map access on the gnome-desktop-file-to-thumbnail.xlsx file by default. Then you should report this as a bug. You can generate a local policy module to allow this access. Do allow this access for now by executing: # ausearch -c 'gsf-office-thum' --raw | audit2allow -M my-gsfofficethum # semodule -X 300 -i my-gsfofficethum.pp Additional Information: Source Context unconfined_u:unconfined_r:thumb_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 Target Context system_u:object_r:nfs_t:s0 Target Objects /tmp/gnome-desktop-file-to-thumbnail.xlsx [ file ] Source gsf-office-thum Source Path gsf-office-thum Port <Unknown> Host (removed) Source RPM Packages Target RPM Packages Policy RPM selinux-policy-3.13.1-283.16.fc27.noarch Selinux Enabled True Policy Type targeted Enforcing Mode Enforcing Host Name (removed) Platform Linux (removed) 4.13.12-300.fc27.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed Nov 8 16:38:01 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 Alert Count 36 First Seen 2017-11-17 11:56:19 MSK Last Seen 2017-11-17 11:56:59 MSK Local ID 324c874e-d191-4d60-bfc0-59ce8eea2ba7 Raw Audit Messages type=AVC msg=audit(1510909019.97:330): avc: denied { map } for pid=14050 comm="gsf-office-thum" path="/tmp/gnome-desktop-file-to-thumbnail.xlsx" dev="0:63" ino=65278626 scontext=unconfined_u:unconfined_r:thumb_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 tcontext=system_u:object_r:nfs_t:s0 tclass=file permissive=0 Hash: gsf-office-thum,thumb_t,nfs_t,file,map Version-Release number of selected component: selinux-policy-3.13.1-283.16.fc27.noarch Additional info: component: selinux-policy reporter: libreport-2.9.3 hashmarkername: setroubleshoot kernel: 4.13.12-300.fc27.x86_64 type: libreport

I encountered the error just after installing 283.16 policy. Before applying 283.17 policy I tested again and no error was caught. After applying 283.17 policy there is no error also.
