Please follow

https://github.com/nxadm/rakudo-pkg/releases
      https://github.com/nxadm/rakudo-pkg/releases/download/v2017.11/rakudo-pkg-Fedora27-2017.11-01.x86_64.rpm

and package zef with rakudo.  This would get rid of hours of hassles with zef version hell. And to be quite frank, the user expects it.

Just an idea.  Why don't you just repackage?

     https://github.com/nxadm/rakudo-pkg/releases

It work very well.  Save everyone a lot of hassle

This is not a duplicate of 1531855.  1531855 concerns an error.  This request is not about an error.

Would you please consider using https://github.com/nxadm/rakudo-pkg/releases as your release?

The RPM's are created with fpm and the build mechanism is located here:

https://travis-ci.org/nxadm/rakudo-pkg/jobs/604669924

And please do not separate zef from the package.

Hi,

I am sorry, but this can not be done. fpm (https://github.com/jordansissel/fpm, http://fpm.readthedocs.io/en/latest/) has nothing to do with the packaging of Fedora and EPEL. It is far away from the standard and can not used with the build system. But you are free to install and use this packages. (dnf install https://github.com/nxadm/rakudo-pkg/releases...)
