Please follow https://github.com/nxadm/rakudo-pkg/releases https://github.com/nxadm/rakudo-pkg/releases/download/v2017.11/rakudo-pkg-Fedora27-2017.11-01.x86_64.rpm and package zef with rakudo. This would get rid of hours of hassles with zef version hell. And to be quite frank, the user expects it. Many thanks, -T
Just an idea. Why don't you just repackage? https://github.com/nxadm/rakudo-pkg/releases It work very well. Save everyone a lot of hassle

This is not a duplicate of 1531855. 1531855 concerns an error. This request is not about an error. Would you please consider using https://github.com/nxadm/rakudo-pkg/releases as your release? The RPM's are created with fpm and the build mechanism is located here: https://travis-ci.org/nxadm/rakudo-pkg/jobs/604669924 And please do not separate zef from the package. Many thanks, -T

It is far away from the standard and can not used with the build system. But you are free to install and use this packages. (dnf install https://github.com/nxadm/rakudo-pkg/releases...) -- Gerd
