This was solved by by adding tooltips, as per bug 1149450. Do the tooltips not appear? It does however appear over the drop down selection boxes for the "Target domain" and the "Disk Profile" Verified on 4.3.0-0.5.alpha1.el7 This bugzilla is included in oVirt 4.3.0 release, published on February 4th 2019. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in oVirt 4.3.0 release, it has been closed with a resolution of CURRENT RELEASE. If the solution does not work for you, please open a new bug report. |
Created attachment 1387835 [details] screen shots, ui logs Description of problem: When moving a disk to another domain the source domain name is cut off Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ovirt-engine-4.2.1.3-0.1.el7.noarch vdsm-4.20.17-11.gite2d6775.el7.centos.x86_64 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create domain with the name e.g. domain_default_dc1_lock1 and domain_default_cd1_block2 2. Create a vm with a disks on the first domain 3. Via the Disks tab in WebAdmin select the disk and select to move it to the second domain >>>>> the source domain name is cut Actual results: The source domain name in the move disk window is cut Expected results: Should be visible or have some way to see the whole name like a tool tip Additional info: See screen shot
