Description Kedar Kulkarni 2018-02-16 17:29:31 UTC
Description of problem:
Remove Resources field in Ansible Playbook Service Catalog Item "Retirement" tab behaves as follows:

1) no matter what you choose (yes/no) it gets saved with "Yes" - CFME 5.9.0.21
2) OR Once it saved with "Yes" its value cannot be edited and changed to "No"

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
5.9.0.x, 5.8.3.x (will update bz with other versions as well as with version where it worked correctly, if any)

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open creation screen of Ansible Playbook catalog item.
2. Fill required fields.
3. Open Retirement tab.
4. Fill "Remove resources?" field with "No" value.
5. Press "Save" button.
6. Try to "Edit" the catalog item to change value of "Remove resources?" you might be able to change it and save it but after you save it will still might reflect "Yes" (even if you select "No")

Actual results:
In details screen of the catalog item "Remove resources?" has "Yes".

Expected results:
"Remove resources" should have correct value.

Additional info:
Based on https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1501143

Not Sure when it is broken still testing against various builds so far 5.9.0.10, 5.8.3.2, 5.9.0.21 found to be broken.

Comment 3 Kedar Kulkarni 2018-02-16 18:40:12 UTC
Does not work with 5.9.0.5, 5.9.0.7, 5.8.2.3, 5.8.1.5. Either you can set it to "Yes", or "No", and cannot change it, or Just defaults to "Yes" or "No". Removed Regression keyword since I could not find a working version.

Comment 5 Kedar Kulkarni 2018-05-02 18:19:17 UTC
This issue still exists in the latest build, CFME 5.9.2.4.

Any estimate when will it get fixed?

Comment 7 Kedar Kulkarni 2018-07-02 18:56:35 UTC
on 5.10.0.2 Remove Resources field in Ansible Service Catalog Item Retirement form does not show symptoms mentioned in Comment 1 and let's you select value you want.

Comment 10 Sudhir Mallamprabhakara 2018-08-15 14:33:05 UTC
I have updated the target release of this bz to 5.9.4 as there is a 5.10 release flag ack'ed.

and moving the bz status back to on-qa
