Comment 16 Or Schiro 2018-03-06 13:27:56 UTC
I temporarily downgraded to pulseaudio-11.1-7.fc27.x86_64.rpm.

Comment 17 Ankur Sinha (FranciscoD) 2018-03-06 13:34:29 UTC
I restarted pulseaudio using:

pulseaudio --start -D

Plugging in my headphones after this crashes it again, so one cannot use headphones with the system currently. This reproduces the bug each time, without fail.

Increasing severity.

Comment 19 Rex Dieter 2018-03-06 15:39:31 UTC
It appears hat including the upstreamed,
0093-alsa-fix-infinite-loop-with-Intel-HDMI-LPE.patch
a fix toward,
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100488

could be contributing to the problem here :(

I'll look into making a build without that (and other unrelated upstream fixes)

Comment 20 Or Schiro 2018-03-06 16:15:09 UTC
Thanks Rex!

Looking forward to testing. :-)

Actually it's crashing and then the microphone is no longer working.
