Description Felix Dewaleyne 2018-07-05 14:15:21 UTC
Description of problem:
on the first selection made on the dropdown field used to refresh a dynamic dropdown, a glitch causes the contents of the dropdown field to be duplicated temporarily

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
5.9.2.4-10

How reproducible:
all the time

Steps to Reproduce:
1.create a dialog with 2 dropdown fields, one just a simple list, the other populated by a refresh method
2.assign the dialog to a catalog item
3.log into self service and access the new catalog item
4. make a different selection in the droplist

Actual results:
the contents of the droplist are duplicated.

Expected results:
the contents of the droplist are not changed since there is no need to

Additional info:
further selections return the droplist to normal.

Hi Shveta,

Felix has supplied a reproducer environment(comment 2).

The dialogs work properly in the OPSUI, but have duplicate entries in the SUI.

We believe this issue has already been addressed in a later version.

Can you try to reproduce the issue on the latest 5.9.3?

Thanks,
Tina

Shveta is on PTO today. Sudhir said he would ask someone else to reproduce the issue and he would have an update by first thing tomorrow morning.

GH PR that contains the fix. https://github.com/ManageIQ/ui-components/pull/316 . We will need another PR after this is merged to account for the version change in ui-components.
