Description Marc Wiriadisastra 2005-06-14 07:38:06 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050524 Fedora/1.0.4-4 Firefox/1.0.4

Description of problem:
After booting the Fedora Core DVD into the install. I push enter then it probes for my graphics card. It finds it correctly. It then goes to a screen that is pixelated with green lines and blue lines. I can faintly make out the Fedora install page however I can't see anything clearly.

Its not the cd because I managed to install FC4 using the text/graphics mode.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
FC 4 base install 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot up into the graphical install
2. push enter for the graphical install
3. Can't read anything after wards.

Actual Results: The screen becomes blurry and I can't read what is happening in the install or whats requested.

Expected Results: It should have been clear to see what is happening.

Additional info:

Its is a 6800GT nvidia Graphics card if that helps

Should had that this was an upgrade not a fresh install. Just in case you think
its a fresh install.
