Multiattach is not a supported feature in OSP13.

Comment 2 Rajini Karthik 2018-09-25 20:34:49 UTC
Seems like this backport https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1613486 is dependent on other issues below which are marked for Rocky.

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1033180
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1033185
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1624971

Can we make sure all dependent issues are going to be fixed and backported to ensure that this feature will be supported?

Comment 5 arkady kanevsky 2019-01-14 22:44:00 UTC
I think it was dependent on 1623365 which is fixed in OSP13.

Comment 6 Paul Grist 2019-03-25 19:55:56 UTC
The overall multiattach feature backport is being tracked in 1624971 and we will consider this one only a bugfix to enable the option for this back-end and enable partner testing in the next Z stream.

Here's the plan summary:

Tech Preview for OSP-13 with customer and partner required actions:
    1) Red Hat Support Exception required for Customer case that clearly indicates multi-attach use case (application) and staging/testing prior to production
    2) Partners required to have cinder feature enabled in stable queens and ensure testing for partner back-end both upstream and on RHOS-13 erratta update with the support

We know of at least a half dozen known patches and LPs that need to be backported to enable this for tech-preview on OSP-13 and that will be tracked in RBZ:1624971

Comment 21 Paul Grist 2019-06-24 21:04:36 UTC
We kept this one separate from the issue that now has patch https://review.opendev.org/#/c/656835/ - Does anyone know if we have Red Hat BZ to backport that when it's ready?
