What do you mean by being unable to register the subscription number? On the RHN
website, or through up2date? If the former, this needs to be against Red Hat
Network, not Red Hat Enterprise Linux, so that the right people see it. (I can
move it if you need help, I just want to make sure that moving it is the right
thing, first)

I have finally managed to get both of our systesm registered. In order to get
success, I had to do the following:
- Delete all systems from the web site.
- Register each system being careful to uncheck the send hardware information.
- Commence normal usage.

The second step is crutial. If it attempts to send hardware info (which always
fails), then you are unable to successfully register tht system.

This would seem to be a bug in up2date and/or the web site itself.
