Ok, I've realized now that I installed the bootloader on the wrong drive, but now that I've corrected this, I cannot boot into windows. I see the following message when I try: Booting 'windows' rootnoverify(hd1,0) chainloader +1 I cannot moddify the startup commands to make it work properly. If I could install the bootloader on a floppy, then when I wished to boot to windows, I could simply bypass the bootloader. it is a useful feature and this is actually the first distro I've tried that doesn't include it. This report targets the FC3 or FC4 products, which have now been EOL'd. Could you please check that it still applies to a current Fedora release, and either update the target product or close it ? Thanks. requested by Jams Antill Floppy drives are no longer in use. Fedora Core 4 is no longer maintained. Setting status to "INSUFFICIENT_DATA". If you can reproduce this bug in the current Fedora release, please reopen this bug and assign it to the corresponding Fedora version. |
