Can you please remove configuration option "failovermethod" from .repo files. Because DNF no longer supports this option. Whats the context here? dnf ignores failovermethod and just prints the above if you are using verbose... so it's not any kind of error that should prevent you from getting updates I wouldn't think. We would like to get rid of these warnings, as dnf does not use this option any more. Could you please remove lines failovermethod=priority from /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora*.repo ? Or is there some other tool which is using this config option? And of course, it does not prevent users from getting updates. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1653831 *** (In reply to Kevin Fenzi from comment #2) > Whats the context here? dnf ignores failovermethod and just prints the above > if you are using verbose... so it's not any kind of error that should > prevent you from getting updates I wouldn't think. I provide information that I think may be useful in solving the problem. I am not an expert. I do not know what is useful and what is not useful. This is not the first time I say this. If the reporting process is for expert people, you should say this clearly. I do not even speak English and I use Google Translate I didn't mean to imply you needed to be an expert or anything, I was simply asking for more information... and thanks for providing it. |
