Description Andy Shevchenko 2005-09-12 08:51:49 UTC
Description of problem:
I am lucky user of the IBM P76 monitor, but the specifications of it do not
present in the MonitorDB. Due to above I have try to apply IBM P70 settings.
Really, it is no good to see 75Hz refresh on 1280x1024 mode.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RHEL4as, FC3 official release (w/ updates).

How reproducible:
Simple try to run system-config-display on this monitor.

Additional info:
[root@work ~]# ddcprobe

Videocard DDC probe results
Description: ATI Technologies Inc. V280
Memory (MB): 16

Monitor DDC probe results
ID: IBM1996
Name: IBM P76
Horizontal Sync (kHZ): 30-94
Vertical Sync (HZ) : 48-120

Height(mm): 240

P.S. And as remark I shuld like accent you attantion on incorrect videram size
detection in ddcprobe (lspci -vv says correct size - 128Mb). It may be affects
to my issue.

Can you attach a INF file for the monitor?

Added in CVS, will be in 0.170-1.
