Description of problem:

See bug 1668685.

Until we fix it, we should have a note somewhere in the documentation (in "requirements", perhaps also elsewhere) that DNF is not supported.

Might not be needed, perhaps prevent dnf instead - bug 1694423.

What is current status? Is this needed or not?

I guess it's safe to close. Worst case, we'll reopen if needed.
