Description Ryan Barry 2019-02-27 11:46:19 UTC
Description of problem:
With ovirt-guest-agent deprecated/removed for EL8 guests, it's no longer possible or applicable for the documentation to reflect SSO as a feature for EL8 guests, as this is not (and will not) be supported.

Comment 4 Steve Goodman 2019-04-08 12:39:25 UTC
In the Admin Guide, we talk about configuring LDAP/Kerberos for Single Sign-on. Is this the section you're talking about?

https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_virtualization/4.3-beta/html-single/administration_guide/index#Configuring_LDAP_and_Kerberos_for_Single_Sign-on

There's also a section in the Virtual Machine Management Guide:

https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_virtualization/4.3-beta/html-single/virtual_machine_management_guide/index#sect-Configuring_Single_Sign-On_for_Virtual_Machines

If I understand correctly, this functionality is not supported for RHEL 8.0, so we can add a note saying that SSO on RHEL 8 guests is not supported. Is that all that needs to be said?

That's all :) And just the VM guide -- LDAP and krb are still supported in the admin portal
