Previously, RHHI for virtualization did not support IPv6 addresses for deployment.
With this release, IPv6 addresses can be used to deploy RHHI for Virtualization and the second and third hyperconverged nodes are automatically configured to be managed by Hosted Engine virtual machine during the deployment process.

So additional IPV6 hosts can't be added via cockpit. User have to add the host to the cluster through RHV Manager UI post the HE deployment is completed. This will be a known_issue till the actual issue is fixed Verified with cockpit-ovirt-dashboard-0.14.6-1.el8 Additional hosts validation works good for IPV6 addresses. 1. Directly using the IPv6 is not considered as valid IP addresses 2. Ping6 test is done for such IPv6 FQDNs Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
