Thanks, Patrick Hi Patrick, I tested with version 2.1.2. *** Bug 1741088 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Moving this bug to POST for triage into Satellite 6 since the upstream issue https://projects.theforeman.org/issues/26838 has been resolved. VERIFIED on sat6.6.0 snap 19 - i added a testing vmware instance as a compute resource and I also created a rhel8 VM using vsphere. - then i checked for the running VM's from satellite and my VM was correctly showing: "Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (64-bit)" for the OS Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
