Comment 1 Dave Jones 2005-11-10 19:54:08 UTC
2.6.14-1.1637_FC4 has been released as an update for FC4.
Please retest with this update, as a large amount of code has been changed in
this release, which may have fixed your problem.

Thank you.

Comment 2 Ignacio Vazquez-Abrams 2005-12-14 09:42:31 UTC
I'm seeing the same problem. And no, 2.6.14-1.1637_FC4, or *any* normal kernel
for that matter, won't help since this is a Xen kernel issue.

Comment 3 Dave Jones 2006-02-03 05:49:02 UTC
This is a mass-update to all currently open kernel bugs.

A new kernel update has been released (Version: 2.6.15-1.1830_FC4)
based upon a new upstream kernel release.

Please retest against this new kernel, as a large number of patches
go into each upstream release, possibly including changes that
may address this problem.

This bug has been placed in NEEDINFO_REPORTER state.

release this version is filed against, please see bug 169613.

Thank you.

Comment 4 Ignacio Vazquez-Abrams 2006-02-03 22:40:04 UTC
Dave, *please* don't suggest errata for normal kernels as a response for issues
with Xen kernels, I'm begging you...

Comment 5 Dave Jones 2006-02-04 00:12:09 UTC
As teh message said, it was an mass-update, (going through all 500 bugs by hand
just isn't feasible).

Xen in FC4 has been a bit of a mess. I'm hoping that once we've got it
stabilised in FC5 we can backport a working release again.

Comment 6 Dave Jones 2006-07-29 05:36:03 UTC
Just getting this stable in FC5 is a huge ordeal. It's likely to stay broken in
FC4 I'm afraid due to lack of resources.
