This was already fixed in 3.10 - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1693043

Are you sure you are using the right version of 3.10?

you are using image: logging-fluentd-v3.10.101-4

The fix is in v3.10.139 or later

Actually, the attachment says: image: registry.access.redhat.com/openshift3/logging-fluentd:v3.9  which was also fixed in https://github.com/openshift/origin-aggregated-logging/pull/1579 but I don't see an associated bz so not certain if and when it was released.
