Given that this is a rebase there are just too many fixes to have any meaningful targeted testing against. General audio regression testing against RHEL-8.2.0-20200227.0 has passed without issue. I have also performed a spot check of patches in the alsa-lib git repo for alsa-lib-1.2.1.2 against the source for alsa-lib-1.2.1.2-2.el8 and things look to be in place. Verifying as SanityOnly. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA. For information on the advisory, and where to find the updated files, follow the link below.
