There are two AppStream modules for perl in RHEL8 right now.  I'm not sure what the EPEL plan is for multi-perl....

There's tons of missing dependencies… I don't know if the Perl SIG will move packages to EPEL8
As of right now I don't have much cycles to spare on Perl dependency tracking.

Bug #1744700 was already raised for perl-Authen-Passphrase so I presume this was meant to be for perl-Authen-Simple as per the bug summary.
