Proposed as a Blocker for 31-final by Fedora user frantisekz using the blocker tracking app because: QA:Testcase Anaconda User Interface Basic Video Driver: The installed system should contain nomodeset keyword specified in the kernel boot line. Discussed during the 2019-09-03 blocker review meeting: [1] The decision to classify this bug as an "AcceptedFreezeException" and "AcceptedBlocker" was made as it violates the following criterion: "The generic video driver option ('basic graphics mode'...) on all release-blocking installer and live images must function as intended (launching the installer or desktop and attempting to use a generic driver)...", and as a Beta freeze exception as a significant installer issue worth fixing. [1] https://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/fedora-blocker-review/2019-09-03/f31-blocker-review.2019-09-03-16.01.txt I cannot reproduce the bug. Could you attach logs from the installation, please? Hmm, weird, I cannot reproduce it either right now. I must've overlooked something, sorry for the noise. |
