Description of problem: Icons to the left of the mouse cursor disappear on the frequent applications page.


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):


How reproducible: Every time


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click Activities
2. Click 9 dots (show applications)
3. Hover over icon with mouse cursor

Actual results: All icons to the left of the mouse cursor disappear


Expected results: All icons remain visible


Additional info: Clean Installation from ISO, Updates applied

This was already fixed upstream: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/issues/1502

Proposed as a Blocker for 31-final by Fedora user jonha using the blocker tracking app because:

 All elements of the default panel (or equivalent) configuration in all release-blocking desktops must function correctly in typical use.
