So POST seems like the wrong status to me. Please confirm. We have a similiar issue with the gnome-boxes BZ, which is also marked RHEL8 while the feature is in RHEL-AV only for now. Mind that libvirt-glib, libosinfo, osinfo-db, and GNOME Boxes are not part of RHEL-AV. They're all AppStream. In any case, GNOME Boxes still does *not* support UEFI guests and they do *not* plan to rebase for RHEL-8.2. Considering GNOME Boxes is the main reason this work is done on libvirt-glib, I also don't think libvirt-glib will rebase on RHEL-8.2. Considering everything pointed out above, what would be your suggestion? Move it to "ASSIGNED"? Do we have a documented process of when move a bug from ASSIGNED to POST or does this depend on team to team / maintainer to maintainer? It depends on each team. We're unifying the process for all of the virt stack, but we're not there yet. Back to ASSIGNED seems like the right status to me. In a few words: we move to POST and set the "fixed in version" field if there's plan for a rebase (the maintainers will handle the BZ during a rebase). If there are no plans for a rebase, then move it to POST once a backport is posted downstream. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
