Description Thom Carlin 2019-10-03 19:12:07 UTC
Description of problem:

undercloud-disk-space is checking for 60 Gb free but we document 100 Gb minimum free

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

13-z

How reproducible:

100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Examine /usr/share/openstack-tripleo-validations/validations/undercloud-disk-space.yaml
2. Examine https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_openstack_platform/13/html-single/director_installation_and_usage/index#sect-Undercloud_Requirements

Actual results:

1. min_undercloud_disk_gb: 60
2. A minimum of 100 GB of available disk space on the root disk

Expected results:

1. min_undercloud_disk_gb: 100
2. A minimum of 100 GB of available disk space on the root disk

Additional info:

Upstream docs (e.g. https://docs.openstack.org/tripleo-validations/queens/validations-prep-details.html#undercloud-disk-space) are also incorrect

Comment 1 Cédric Jeanneret 2020-06-10 15:45:41 UTC
So we can either backport https://review.opendev.org/#/c/584314/ - but it might lead to some other errors, or make a queens-only patch and update the value. Guess the latter is better..
