In line with the Retire Python 2 Fedora change [0], all (sub)packages of slingshot were marked for removal.

There was no FESCo exception for this package.

Please retire your package in Rawhide (Fedora 32).

Please don't remove packages from Fedora 31/30/29, removing packages from a released Fedora branch is forbidden and out of scope of this request.

If there is no objection in a week, we will retire the package for you.

Is it possible to resurrect this great game ?
I have made the changes to make it work with python3, there is also a pull request waiting at: https://github.com/ryanakca/slingshot/pull/10

What  does it take to reinstantiate this game in fedora? If I clone the repo and provide a working .spec so that it builds and run on Fedora 32, can I hope to see it back in Fedora 33 or 34 ?

A Fedora packager that would take care of it. Maybe it's Gwyn, maybe it's you.
