Description Radim Hrazdil 2019-12-03 10:52:03 UTC
Description of problem:
When a user creates a VM from a Template, which has for example a rootDisk created from a URL source, the VM rootdisk copies the same source configuration, meaning that it's source is the same URL, instead of cloning the existing datavolume.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
4.3

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a VM template via Wizard and select URL provision method
   Use for example https://download.cirros-cloud.net/0.4.0/cirros-0.4.0-x86_64-disk.img
2. Create a VM from the template
3. Inspect the VM DataVolume

Actual results:
The VM datavolume source also points to the URL

Expected results:
The VM datavolume source should point to the TM Template PVC and should be cloned
