Description Mike Palczewski 2000-09-30 05:24:30 UTC
this is actually a 7.0 not a 6.2 bug. When installing R-base I get the
following error message.
$ rpm -i R-base-1.1.0-4.i386.rpm
/usr/lib/R/bin/LIBINDEX: /usr/lib/R/bin/LIBINDEX: No such file or directory
execution of R-base-1.1.0-4 script failed, exit status 127

Comment 1 Tim Powers 2000-09-30 20:31:03 UTC
This is going to be fixed in the R-base-1.1.0-5 errata update. Thanks for
letting me know about this.

Tim

Is there any estimate when this will be released?

Comment 3 Tim Powers 2001-02-22 13:32:15 UTC
Use the package in rawhide. Right now it is R-base-1.2.0-5 and it
installs/uninstalls cleanly. The i386 package is at:

ftp://ftp.redhat.com/rawhide/powertools/i386/RedHat/RPMS/R-base-1.2.0-5.i386.rpm
