There have been a lot of delays with getting ghc into EPEL8, but the initial work is finally done. So hopefully there will be more progress soon. does ghc 8.2.2 suffice? https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2020-c24419cb8d Any progress? Any help needed? Thanks. In theory it might be quicker/easier to add pandoc-citeproc to RHEL8 CRB... Bootstrapping pandoc in EPEL8 will still take some time I think. Currently I am starting work on EPEL9 packages. Though it seems EPEL8 might be more urgently needed. I can just add that is it not a small amount of work: pandoc has roughly 100 dependencies that need to be built.. Also I would be happy to setup a copr repo in the meantime if that is helpful. I think we can drop this since new pypandoc's do not require pandoc-citeproc. (In reply to Orion Poplawski from comment #9) > I think we can drop this since new pypandoc's do not require pandoc-citeproc. Does that require a newer version of pandoc? After evaluating this issue, there are no plans to address it further or fix it in an upcoming release. Therefore, it is being closed. If plans change such that this issue will be fixed in an upcoming release, then the bug can be reopened. |
