Comment 1 Alan Pevec 2020-06-17 11:41:02 UTC
Do you need both python 2 and 3 in epel8?

For py3 epel8 scratch build from Fedora master fails on missing:
python3-testrepository

For py2 we'd need to pin to an older version since upstream dropped py2:
https://opendev.org/openstack/stevedore/commit/1aca4bcbb740e3498fa64b4a6d279b022c74db66

I only need python 3 in epel8.

(Sorry for the delayed reply.)

Comment 4 Alan Pevec 2020-07-01 22:52:57 UTC
BR missing in epel8
No matching package to install: 'python3-testrepository'

Comment 5 Davide Cavalca 2022-08-15 03:25:08 UTC
python3-testrepository should be available in EPEL now. Will you be able to branch and build python-stevedore in epel8?

The EPEL Packagers SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer if you do not wish to build it on epel8: please add the epel-packagers-sig group through
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-stevedore/addgroup
and grant it commit access, or collaborator access on epel* branches.
