Description of problem:
The Media Support is not activated
-DENABLE_MEDIAPLAYER:BOOL=OFF

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
7.0.0 beta 3 Fedora 32

How reproducible:
Look in to the build Logs

Actual results:
Media files have no thumbnails and can't play in the application 

Expected results:
We see the thumbnails and can watch the media in digikam

Additional info:

I downloaded the source and compiled it on my Fedora 32 and had no Problem but I see that two of the needed libs (x265,qtav) came from rpmfusion-free. Maybe an open source rule?

media player support requires libraries that are currently patented and cannot be in fedora due to policy reasons,

(Once upon a time, digikam supported plugin-based media support, so that this feature was supported easily by rpmfusion addons, but the current implementation is all-or-nothing unfortunately)
