Moving it to UX, to determine what needs to fixed here as this is a generic component. If we dont have more information to add at the moment lets remove the link to the alert details page. we need to check how can we have a clear information about each alert. Setting target release to the active development branch (4.8.0). For any fixes, where required , cloned BZs will be created for those release maintenance streams. @badhikar , does https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1866322#c2 make sense? Yes it does. Moving it to assigned. And targeting for this sprint. We will remove the link for `Show Details` from our dashboards. However it will remain the same in the main cluster dashboard. Reopening this bug based on discussion starting at https://github.com/openshift/console/pull/8231#issuecomment-785113674. https://github.com/openshift/console/pull/8265 reverts the change to hide the link. The comment here shows that many of the frontend alert details issues have been addressed: https://github.com/openshift/console/pull/8231#issuecomment-785836918 The alert description should be improved, but this is not a console issue. Alerting state's description.
Hi Bipul The following was observed :- a. Alert details were link able and screenshot for same is attached in comment#8. b. Alerting Rules list page was present under Monitoring > Alerting . Screenshot for same has been attached in comment#9. c. Alerting state descriptions are present under Alert detail page . Screenshot for same has been attached in comment#10. Are there any other modifications that were suppose to be validated or can this bug be moved to verified based on above observations?
