Looking at Rex's previous fix, it looks like all we need is a bump to the package version[1] and a corresponding tag upstream[2]. [1] https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/kde-settings/pull-request/3 [2] https://github.com/FedoraKDE/kde-settings/issues/2 Yes, but very few people can merge or commit it :( I didn't bother with a PR because the change is trivial, it'd be about the same amount of work for Rex to do it versus merging someone else's PR. I also didn't see the point of having issues both up and downstream when Rex certainly knows what needs doing. FEDORA-2020-527d393bd7 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 33. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-527d393bd7 Thanks! It makes testing easier if you also build for Rawhide, because the build will land in Rawhide right away and we can check the Rawhide KDE live to see if it works... FEDORA-2020-527d393bd7 has been pushed to the Fedora 33 testing repository. In short time you'll be able to install the update with the following command: `sudo dnf upgrade --enablerepo=updates-testing --advisory=FEDORA-2020-527d393bd7` You can provide feedback for this update here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-527d393bd7 See also https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for more information on how to test updates. Actually I built a new F33 KDE base disk image and pulled the update into it via a side repo; that confirms it works. FEDORA-2020-527d393bd7 has been pushed to the Fedora 33 stable repository. If problem still persists, please make note of it in this bug report. |
