Comment 1 Fedora Blocker Bugs Application 2020-09-19 20:30:05 UTC
Proposed as a Freeze Exception for 33-beta by Fedora user zbyszek using the blocker tracking app because:

Version in F32 is higher, leading to dependency problem during upgrade.

Comment 2 Denis Fateyev 2020-09-19 21:30:13 UTC
For some reason, all my F33 updates were stuck a while ago, including that one you have concerned about: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-887a9c285a
I cannot push them forcefully. I could unpush and push again — but not sure whether it helps.

Comment 3 Zbigniew Jędrzejewski-Szmek 2020-09-20 08:09:26 UTC
The message from Fedora Blocker Bugs Application is a hint: we're in beta freeze. You don't need to do anything, this bug was filed to push the update as freeze exception.

FEDORA-2020-887a9c285a has been submitted as an update to Fedora 33. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-887a9c285a

Comment 5 Kamil Páral 2020-09-21 10:56:15 UTC
I installed python-apsw on F33 and ran dnf system-upgrade, the transaction doesn't show any issue (but I didn't complete it). Can you please upload the full log?

Comment 6 Zbigniew Jędrzejewski-Szmek 2020-09-21 12:47:06 UTC
'dnf system-upgrade' is fine. A "manual" upgrade with 'dnf upgrade --releasever' doesn't work.
Dunno, if you say that this pattern is not supported, then let's just close this.

Comment 7 Kamil Páral 2020-09-21 13:04:49 UTC
That's because "dnf system-upgrade" uses "dnf distrosync" internally, not "dnf upgrade".
