Description of problem:

Running 'paraview &' or even 'paraview --help' results in the following error:

paraview: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/openmpi/bin/../lib/paraview/libvtkIOExodus.so.1: undefined symbol: _ZN3MPI8Datatype4FreeEv
[1]+  Exit 127                paraview

Where would any error messages be logged?

This fails:

/usr/lib64/openmpi/bin/paraview

This succeeds:

/usr/bin/paraview
