What happened?

The customer has a proxy that was not properly configured, it was blocking connections from the installer to the bootstrap VM where Ironic API was running.

What did you expect to happen?

The installer reports "Error: could not contact Ironic API: timeout reached", it would be nice to include some extra notes like "Check network settings / Proxy configuration" as well.

How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible)?

Run the installer using a proxy that blocks connections to the bootstrap VM IP.
