Description Jan Safranek 2021-04-12 15:05:38 UTC
e2e-vsphere-csi tests runs our CSI certification tests and Azure CSI driver consistently fails these tests.

Example:
https://prow.ci.openshift.org/view/gs/origin-ci-test/pr-logs/pull/openshift_vmware-vsphere-csi-driver-operator/16/pull-ci-openshift-vmware-vsphere-csi-driver-operator-master-e2e-vsphere-csi/1381506117988782080

Failed tests:

[Testpattern: Dynamic PV (block volmode)] volumes should store data
[Testpattern: Dynamic PV (xfs)][Slow] volumes should allow exec of files on the volume
[Testpattern: Dynamic PV (block volmode)] multiVolume [Slow] should access to two volumes with different volume mode and retain data across pod recreation on different node [LinuxOnly]

+ please check what's wrong with resizing tests and enable them in our CI.

Comment 3 Hemant Kumar 2021-06-07 18:01:05 UTC
So right now I think the only tests that are failing are online expansion tests, which is not widely supported with vsphere CSI driver. I have opened https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/pull/102665 to allow configuration of online/offline expansion capabilities during testing.
