Dan, not yet.  Jindrich needs to regenerate the shortname list for every release.  This one is for RHEL 8.5 and it's not completed yet.

Yes, this one is already fixed with addition of 002-rhel-shortnames-overrides.conf into the shotnames config dir: http://pkgs.devel.redhat.com/cgit/rpms/skopeo/tree/002-rhel-shortnames-overrides.conf?h=stream-container-tools-rhel8-rhel-8.5.0
