Description Juan Larriba 2021-05-13 12:44:14 UTC
Currently, a restoration of a backup is a 100% manual step. Using PXE (via Ironic) in combination with ReaR, restoration could be done automatically without having to manually mount ISOs on startup.

Benefit:
- Restoring a host is done through a single command.
- Restoring does not requir an external drive attachment.

qa_nack for this release due to capacity

Comment 13 Jesse Pretorius 2022-10-18 14:06:28 UTC
This will not be included as a supported feature in OSP 17.1.

The old B&R functionality is being deprecated in 17.1: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2126375
And replaced with https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2069624
