Description Seth Alford 2021-05-25 09:01:15 UTC
Description of problem: I did a dnf update. glibc got updated along with other packages. I got an error from a scriptlet about a non-existent program.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.32-4.fc33.x86_64

How reproducible: probably will happen again if the scriptlet isn't changed

Steps to Reproduce:
1. dnf update
2. look at output
3. see the error

Actual results: I got this output when doing dnf update:

  Cleanup : glibc-2.32-4.fc33.x86_64 305/307
  Running scriptlet: glibc-2.32-4.fc33.x86_64 305/307
/var/tmp/rpm-tmp.lXnUeF: line 5: /sbin/sln: No such file or directory

Expected results: no error about a missing binary.

Additional info: "dnf whatprovides /sbin/sln" says:

dnf whatprovides /sbin/sln
