Describe the issue: 
"NOTE
    Do not use su or su - commands because these commands do not set the correct environment variables. Use your Red Hat Customer Portal credentials. "


This explains that you need to login with your local user via ssh, usernames for RHEL local users have no relation to customer portal credentials. 

Suggestions for improvement: 
Remove: "Use your Red Hat Customer Portal credentials."
