Created attachment 1816219 [details] Updated specfile for EL8 Seems not. At least from a build perspective. Please find attached a jabberd.spec that builds on EL8 as demonstrated here: https://download.copr.fedorainfracloud.org/results/brianjmurrell/epel-8/epel-8-x86_64/02531714-jabberd/ Seems perl-Net-Jabber is needed but not in EL8. A working jabberd and dependencies is in https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/brianjmurrell/epel-8/builds/. If anyone is interested, please feel free to use the above to bring this package to EPEL. This package has changed maintainer in Fedora. Reassigning to the new maintainer of this component. |
